Description
Dawn Renee Ball is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) and advanced practice provider primary care department supervisor. She is also the PCI APP Officer. She sees patients across their lifespan, including adolescents and young adults. She provides care for chronic illness management, diabetes, women’s reproductive health, mental health, and is LBGTQ friendly. She can provide Nexplanon, IUD, joint injections, and minor dermatological procedures. She is particularly interested in diabetes management, having completed her doctoral research in that specialty. She believes in taking care of people in a comprehensive way, inclusive of mind, body, and spirit. Dawn earned her nursing degree from Clarion University in Clarion, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She is board-certified as a CRNP by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a basic life support instructor.
